Registered Nurses

Registered Nurses

Bestcare’s experienced Registered Nurses, who serve the community with the support and supervision of our corporate clinical staff, will provide you with all the professional level services you require. From performing your initial comprehensive assessment through on-going visits and overall clinical management of your home care, you will feel secure in the knowledge that your nurse knows you and your individual needs. Additionally, your nurse will communicate with your doctor and other care providers to ensure that your individual care goals are being met as well as assist you in locating any additional community services that may be of benefit to you. Most important, your nurse is always available to speak with you to address all of your questions and concerns.

Bestcare’s corporate clinical staff members are constantly working to ensure Bestcare is compliant with all New York State Department of Health regulations, assessing the quality of the care that we provide, and ensuring that Bestcare is developing new and cutting-edge care delivery models. The support that comes from Bestcare’s team of corporate nurses strengthens and enhances the care you receive in your home.

Home Health Aides

As a client, your closest relationship will be with your Aide and Bestcare’s Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are the backbone of the company. Every day and every night Bestcare’s dedicated team of Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides is in the community upholding our mission statement and delivering quality, compassionate care to our clients.

When you or your loved one receive service from a Bestcare Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide, be assured you are being cared for by someone who has completed a course of training approved by the New York State Department of Health, someone who has undergone a thorough background check and physical assessment, and someone who is committed to being there for you or your loved one in your time of need.

Furthermore, all Bestcare Aides receive continuing education and training to keep their skills current as well as focused training in areas such as cultural diversity, pediatrics, care for the elderly, and many specific health conditions. This education empowers our Aides to provide care confidently and allows you to focus on what’s important – you and your loved ones.

Home Health Aides

Homemakers Companions

The Homemaker/Companion performs basic homemaking tasks such as assisting the client with errands and meal preparation and provides companionship while maintaining an optimal level of safety for the client.

All home health care employees meet New York State Department of Health hiring standards.

Homemakers/Companions

Live-Ins

Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are certified by NY State Department of Health and can provide day to day assistance with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and companionship. Live-in services allow you to have someone available on a daily basis when your loved ones cannot be there to assist you.
